What about the old client?

What about the old client? Are we dumping it? What to I do with my dual machine? Should I keep running the old Client? (Dual Clients on my Dual cpus)

As far as I know everybody is switching over to 2.0.
I know we were doing great on the old client but I feel we have a better chance of staying on top if we all go with 2.0.

From what I gather you should be able to load the 2.0 text version twice by loading and getting a w/u for the first instance. Shut that one down and load a second one, get w/u and then start up the first. I've been snooping around some of the other forums and this seems to be the plan most are using.

Does Folding@home run on dual processor machines?

Yes, but it only uses one processor. We are working on this and hope to have the update released in November 2001 that uses both processors in order to complete WUs twice as fast.
