Here's their reply from the FAQ page:

Why no Mac/Solaris/etc version?

We've been deluged by requests for other versions, especially by Mac users. We promise, we'll get them up and posted soon as we can, most likely in a couple of weeks. Right now, we're looking for good programmers to help with the ports to Mac, Solaris, etc. In general, the Cosm libraries should be easy to port and thus (with some help), we should be able to whip out these versions. Interested in volunteering? Please email help@folding.stanford.edu.

News about the Mac port: We are collaborating with Apple on the Mac port, both to OS 9 and OS X. The OS X port will be done first (since it's the easier one for us to do). Hopefully the OS 9 port will folllow.

There is a version for OSX. I am waiting for a version for OS9. It'd be a good way to test out my 6100 cluster. Fractals get borring after a while.

I suppose it is going to be " a cold day.." before they get around to OS8 version.... I am not going to upgrade... too many problems between OS9 and my publishing software...

Go figure...
