Exclamation Is ChrisBard fighting the good fight?
Well some of the ppl I don't know from here along with some I know suggested I'd better stay put and let the linucs community grow in peace. Apparently they don't enjoy the jokes and the fun stuff I bring (even tho at times might appear harsh ) and they suggested I should stop. So I am asking you AOA members what should I do?

Personally, I think any and ALL debate (provided it doesn't involve mothers and sisters) on operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOSX is beneficial. Windows users that gain any insight from any of it (even the at times silly threads) into Linux have done themselves a service, as learning how to use it, or even just about it, is a skill that is very valuable.

At the same time, if you hadn't been carrying on like the Iraqi information minister during the invasion I probably wouldn't have even bothered trying Windows 7 at all, and frankly, I'm glad I did, because as right as I was about Vista being a letdown, Win7 goes a ways to fix that, and right now my father is actually loving the speed, features, and feel of Win7 and Office 2007 on his everyday laptop.

The day debate and disagreement dies on this forum is the day I'll find another one, whether it be Intel vs AMD, (WeldZilla was the Intel Netburst line's very own Chrisbard), or Nvidia vs ATI (Cadaveca was the Radeon-bard), its been here since Daniel and co first dropped their deckchairs at this URL, and it will be here in perpetuity.

I've installed and run Ubuntu (some newer version) just because of you linucs fans here at AOA. I was quite surprized to find it so easy to manage. Had a bit of a problem when running certain videos and I guess the codecs were to blame. On internet proved to be fast but it annoyed me with a few sites that weren't displayed corectly no matter what. If I could game on it I would consider using it along with Windows. I don't remember now if I had access to the Adaptec pci-ex raid-0 hdd's since I install it on the raptor but I think it didnt work, hey no OS is perfect. After installing a lot of stuff on it it started working slower so don't tell me linucs is faster than windows because it really isn't. Prolly for few it pro's and server management linux is better. For the pro gamer it's simply not an option.

Why not get dsio to meet you in PS3 space that way you won't have to buy a new computer if want to play a newer game!
