Hahahahaha, one day I will explain to my son's son that back in the early 2000 we had more than one OS which some geeks were using even on their PC's to appear cool

Don't be shy! Tell him Everything! Tell how you single handedly rallied the Linux world and threw down the evil that was MS when you mistakenly dial out on your stupid windows 8 phone (which threw you into a conference call with underground Linux devs) who quickly learned from YOU all of MS plans for world comquests.

(Face it Chris, you gave MS up for a but a single game you could play on MInt 13!)

Tell him why we call you the "Mother of Linux re-dux part II"

(But first you should probably explain what MS was...before you happened to it.":O}

(post like mine can't be helping our forums! ah well, just so I spell check!)

Cause I'm thinking this maybe why you aren't allowed to have a real computer anymore... ah! Watch those batterys Chris... you want to be able to open your mail later on!

That's good little Laptop boy!

Opera!? Dude we switched to Firefox back when MS still making an OS!

They are? WOW! MS is still trying to sell an inferior product in competition with a superior FREE product... Who would buy such a thing? But of course, those who have to!

Poor people with lots of cash who never were shown how to install Linux to Laptop... These are YOUR people Chris don't abandon them...MS needs you.. you could be the very last person to actually enjoy an MS OS!

Here's me enjoying you enjoying MS! ":O}

You DO realize that Apple is BSD Unix under the hood now? And that Linux and Unix are kissing cousins?

Poor Chris sees his world passing him by, bitterly clinging to the remnants of an OS whose time never really arrived and now is gone...

We will shelter you Chris and give you a place to hide away from the prying eyes of the curious public...

Even though it no doubt annoys many when you start talking about old stuff like defragging, and Anti virus and phoning home to whine about MS security.

Not to worry as MS forums dry up and blow away, you will always be welcome here.

Later when things get really bad, I'll ask that we open a topic for people who know how to use MS....but can no longer find anyone else who does...

I'm looking out for ya Chris!

I am considering buying an SSD HDD for my laptop as this regular HDD is somewhat slow when working with my photos. I will consider installing Ubuntu or something similar if I can use the software I am using now. My question is: On a Toshiba with Centrino DUO and 2GB RAM replacing the normal HDD with an SSD one will improve the speed when working with photos or not? I also think that adding some more memory is the other option. Cheers
