| current load temp @ 3ghz, 1.5v, is 31c, while water temp is 30c. The 120mm radiator is not quite enough cooling for the cpu tho, and i am noticing a slow rise in temps. I tried priming overnight @ 3ghz, 1.45v, and woke up to a frozen windows boot, water temp @ 48c...cpu temp must be a bit higher. This little escapade has proven, to me at least, the the temps reported on this board are false. I'll be taking everything apart later today and mounting a thermal diode next to the cpu die, to try to get some more accurate readings. Oh, and case is a NZXT Lexa. I'll be moving the watercooling over to the x1900 Crossfire rig at a later date...this test was to confirm/deny the plausibility of adding those two infernos to the cooling loop...looks like the next rad is a BIX III. I'll be putting some ice into the coolant to lower temps further, at which point i know 3.3ghz will be doable...last night i had the water down to 4c, running 3.35ghz @ 1.78v.

Okay, i guess...idle temps same as stock, pretty well, and becasue i have been playing with the cpu, I have not had much time to test as of yet. Nice and silent and far lighter than the stock heatsink, that's for sure. I'll be starting a thread on it later, once i get the card installed in the other machine, as i have just loaded the x1900's up now that i know i will be able to hit my goal. Raph, I will put up much more info in the coming weeks on the vid cards, but I have decided to open my store during the dogshow this weekend, so i have some work to do before i can devote such time.

| I'm using systool. MBM reports the same temps. But you said reset? how do i do that? Thermal couple on Fluke multimeter reads 36c on the bottom of the block, and reported temps are 30c(this is under load of course)

| The system is up and running now, and I'm posting here from it.I've got the watercooling for the cpu mounted just fine, however i need to sort out the hose-path for when the next rad and the gpu blocks arrive, as well as decide on proper fan placement. more to follow later.

| current load temps are displayed as 29c by various software, 33c by both thermal probes taped next to the cpi die(the fluke reads 33.4 tho). I assume that the actual die temp is abt 8-10 degrees higher than that.

| Do you still think you'll be able to hit 3.3 GHz on water at ambient, or do you think you're gonna have to ice it down?
