wow, is this thread dead?
I just came across this board today and it appears the good stuff here is from 2006.
Since then everybody is "Working" on mods but nobody has any pics for showing progress or what issues they've run into.
seems there's a lot of talent here but without anything to display (incomplete projects) it's getting boring reading though this stuff.
almost like wasting my time reading.
I'm not giving up yet as I'm sure there's more stuff to check out since I haven't been on here long at all.
Quit bumping eachother and get your own stuff done already.

This thread was created in conjunction with the creation of the "Mod Squad' several years ago, of which I was (and believe, for some reason, still am) overlooking Captain. Unfortunately, some of the modders that were on the forum are no longer active, so completing this list is a bit of an uphill struggle. I'm partially to blame, however, since I've not exactly upheld my duties as captain and overlooked this thing. It's the same thing with all of us on this forum I've noticed. It's very difficult for anyone to commit to a project as everyone's very busy with their lives.

We try to do what we can in our spare time. It's true though. There is some very good talent roaming around on the forums, but it's just unfortunate that no-one can commit enough time to display their awesome abilities. =)

I've got two mods in mind but have been holding off waiting for the next contest. And I'm kind of glad there hasn't been one in the last few months with the back surgery and having more computer work than I wanted.
But a contest about now would fit in well with me! I only have one computer comming in for the next month that I know of so i might as well do something strange to mine!

I got an old win98 box I plan on playing with some. It's a Gateway. I've already sanded down the metal. I also plan on trying to get rid of the gateway symbol on the front. Maybe by cutting it off or some sanding. (or a little of both) I've added some ram to it. I had only 128 megs and now it has 192.

I've found SEVERAL old games while digging threw the garage and I plan on putting some of these games on it. I've already manage to get Street Fight to run on it with my old gamepad. WOOT!
