It looks far too impractical for a regular users case, water cooling or conventional fan cooling looks far more inviting.

This heatsink is quite old...about a year now. It's actually quite light, and because of the lack of a fan, weighs almost the same as teh Typhoon, also from Tt. The a64 mounting, as well as the sonic towe mounting, ensure that most of the pressure exerted by the weight of the heatsink is absorbed by the mobo tray. You can toss a couple of pounds on there without worries! toss a fan in there, and you have one of teh best air heatsinks there is!

It's also one of the ugliest. It wouldn't fit in a normal case, it's overly big, grotesque and unneccessary. Just my $0.02
