I've heard that linux community came up with better implemented security in it's latest Linux Mint Gold version, it's actually preventing the user to log in, thus posing 0 risk in contamining the computer with malware! Well done to the open source community!

So has OP found his watercooling kit yet? I hope I used OP the right way! I don't have a desktop so I don't know anything about cooling a CPU system. But I do want to try putting my notebook over a tray of ice to keep it cool and working fast.

You did use OP the correct way.

Not so sure bout the ice. several issues can occur. Moisture is the biggest issue. Inadvertently dropping the laptop into the ice. If you get it too cool condensation could occur. it will only last a moment. Try one of the laptop fan trays on the market. That is your best low dollar fix.
