Lightbulb Electron Microscope III v2.2.4 (Update)

Fixed issue with new beta client 3.24
Improved protein graph display
Queue.dat file version displayed now

This is mostly a bug fix release. Stanford added 16 more bytes to the 3.2x queue.dat file structure which EM III reads. EM now understands the new structure and will display it properly. The problems Linux users were seeing should also be gone. Please let me know ASAP if your Linux box does not display properly on EM III.

I improved the protein graph display as it spent a lot of time doing things it didn't have to. I never went back and revisited this code until it was pointed out that it needed some attention. You can also now grab the middle button and get a live update scroll as you move the bar up and down. I also made the bar solid instead of progressive vertical bars. I think it displays better.

When displaying the information in the queue.dat file, I added another field that shows the version number. This may help when trying to determine what may be causing a problem.

Cool! Thanks a bunch! Hey, I wonder if I can run this through WINE. I'll give it a shot

Probably not, I do a lot of API calls and other things that go outside of standard or normal programming practices. If it can actually handle this program I'd be impressed as hell.

What's New Version 2.2.6
The Google Fix

The queue.dat file structure appears to be the same until about verion 3.23 or 3.24, I'm not sure. But, the Google dat file was version 3.21 and still had the same structure. I fixed that problem and hope we don't see any more of that.

Nope, didn't work even when I stole kernel32, gdi32, and user32; amongst others, from a Win98 CD. But that's OK

Thanks, just hope everyone enjoys using the program as much as I do.
It runs on my main rig 24/7 monitoring from 4 to 8 systems all the time.

Another new Gromacs test protein released yesterday, pAla7-4-ClTest. I posted a new protein data file in case you are doing this one. Thanks to everyone who has sent me copies of xyz files that either were not on my protein page or were and I did not have a copy. When you get a new protein you can help me keep a history of what we are all doing by sending me a copy of any protein you get that isn't on my list or is but isn't "green in color" which means I'm aware of it but don't have a copy yet.

I am still looking for a copy of the P213_1fsvunf320 xyz file.

You can acquire the new download here: http://www.em-dc.com

Just did another update...
