Unhappy 4.8ghz Down 15th - 18th

as of the 15th im going to lose 4.8ghz for 4 days. LAN party time! w00t!
Is there anyway I could install like 20 clients and let each download a WU and start on it then shut it down and let the next download a WU, etc? That way when one client finishes at the lan (im bringing my dualie along with another computer) I could just close it and open another then open each one again and let it upload work when I get home?

Yes. Basically, you use the console version. Download it and extract it into a folder. Then copy that folder 20 times. Launch one of the consoles and wait for it to download a WU. Close that console. Repeat 19 more times. Once each console has a WU, then launch one of them. As soon as it finishes it's WU, close that console and launch another one. Repeat 19 times.

Another way you could do it, perhaps it's easier, is after the console downloads the WU, close it. Then move the "Work" folder and "queue.dat" file over to another folder. The console will then download a new WU. Repeat 19 times. When it finishes the WU, move it to another folder and replace it with one you had previously downloaded. This should also work with the graphical client.

You can run multiple consoles at the same time... I don't think you will need 20 each.... maybe 4 or 5.. If you have them all running at the same time, each will share CPU cycles evenly. If one is shorter than the rest, it will finish and idle, allowing the others to get more CPU cycles. Don't run them one at a time... you'll have to track them to know when to shut it down and start another one.

By running them all at the same time, they'll all finish at the same time too, less maintenence.
