Folding Farms, Scores and WU's?

Whats the relationship between the Scores and WU's? Is there one?

I've recently started folding on my second rig and would like to know whether I have to give it/me another ID name, or will the WU's done by both machines add themselves up automatically?

Laz.

You only need to set "machine ID" if you run more than one instance on your machines.

The score is based on the time it will take to fold the unit. Big units give more points than small units..

Lazgoat, set the name the same on both or how many you have, even on friends rig if you ask nice enough.

Hmmm, now you got me thinking. There are a few PC's at work that I'll get folding too.

I'm hoping to snag two 1.8Ghz Celerons, the K6-400Mhz that I use (no laughing ) and possibly a XP2600 as well. These are the only ones that have access to the Net.
Watch my scores rocket!

Ok, I've got three of the rigs folding now, but they all seem to be folding Tinkers, using the FAH_65Core. Is this normal? I've downloaded the 3.24 Version if that helps.
BTW, two of the rigs are 1.0Ghz Celerons, not 1.8Ghz.

It all helps, Tinker or Gromacs. I'll be looking forward to seeing your score increase! Did you get the XP to fold as well?

Btw, do you use -advmethods on all of them?

Laz, get the 3.25 client from here . If I remember correctly SSE isn't automatically re-enabled when a WU finishes on 3.24.

I should add that even if the 3.25 is still in beta, it is a VERY stable client to use...

Sorry folks, I've had to unistall F@Home on the work machines as they and the dedicated software they run are under guarantee. Its a total waste of computing cycles as they are on 24/7 365 days!
