Can't help I'm afraid, just wanted to offer my condolences on the loss of your 24/7 box! What happened?

For example:

C://Programs/Folding.exe -send all

Create a shortcut to your folding executable. Append the -send all flag as shown above to the newly created shortcuts target string. With your normal folding client shutdown, fire the one you've just created. IF it's going to send anything back, it'll do so from there and automaticly shut down. From there you'll need to restart your client as normal.

If it has any problems connecting to the server, or the server is whacked, you'll see the client attempt to start, then quit rather quickly. It's not you, it's the servers.

See list of available switches (flags) HERE (LInk)

If things aren't going through, there's a very good chance one of the servers is whacked. Find out here: Server Status (Link)

A few servers have been down... I've had a few units backing up on me.

If you try the -send all flag, and it just says can't connect and shuts down, it is most likely the server. 148 and 149 have been down.

so applying this flag will send all work, regardless of whether it's WU is finished or not?

dan, my dad is taking my 933mhz 24/7 box with him to russia. it will stay there. internet there is charged per Megabyte downloaded/uploaded, so FAH will be taken off of it. but by then ill have a 1700+ up and running, hopefully OC'd to over 2ghz.

Only the completed WUs (includes those WUs the client has closed in the event it cannot proceed any further).

Looking in the "work" folder of your F@H install, you'll see a file called ".results" if there's anything held in queue.

Nope.

Only if the client has closed it such as in a "Early Unit End" situation. Those do go back and one gets at least partial credit for what work was done.

If you simply want to stop the client in its tracks and send back that done so far, no, can't do it. Seems it'd be pointless, as how would one make since of it all on Stanford's end?

DOH!! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/...zx11pissed.gif

I've seen where some folks have copied the entire F@H folder and moved it to other rigs. I don't know how or if it all works as it seems the client gets the machine ID number from Stanford and it's stored in the systems registry. I reckon it makes sense to make it not work as somebody would figure a way to copy the big point jobs and load up on them. Dunno.

Perhaps I'm thinking where folks are moving the .results file for uploading to Stanford. http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/cwm/3dlil/eek13.gif
