Back in action

I should be up to my 400pt/day average pretty soon again. i just got the internet issues sorted (now that im in college) with my folding rack computer. so thats a P4 2.4GHz 24/7 again.

btw, im posting from it right now

it also might be of interest that it is cooled by a 60mm 12CFM fan and maintains a load temp of 45C

I know the presscotts run hot, but I have never seen a Northwood or Willamette run hot, and all of my XPs I own run over 50c all the time.
kind of wierd..

My cpus are current temps

P4 3.06GHz @ 3.45GHz is 50c while folding for 5 hours
P4 2.4GHz @ 2.9GHz is 42c while folding for 13 hours
AMD 2400XP @ 2.3GHz is 58c while folding 10 hours
AMD 1GHz t-bred @ 1.3GHz is 56c while folding 3 hours
P3 600MHz @ 650MHz is 47c after folding/file serving for 31 days.

Yeah the stock coolers could do much better with a bigger fan. I think the heat syncs are "OK" (not for overclocking). But the fan is just way too small.
