BTW, for all you that are thinking "He must have a great folding farm" I would like to point out that the VAST majority of my machines are PII or PIII machines running at less than 1 GHz. Which simply proves that even old machines can still be useful for folding.

Yeah, but don't forget the others.

In our top 20, we have:
2 people producing over 2,000 pts/day
5 people producing over 1,500 pts/day
11 people producing over 500 pts/day

ALL of the top 20 are producing over 300 pts/day.

Now, consider this:
With only one or two exceptions, EVERY team ranked above us is producing an average of 280 pts per day per active user or LESS. WE are an anomaly: our output is about 350 pts per day per active user.

In other words, as a team, we do more with less than many of the teams with higher rankings. I think this speaks highly of our TEAM and the effort we put into trying to fold. So don't think that your contribution to the team is insignificant; it isn't. Even if you are only able to produce 12 points a day with that old Celeron 500, it still counts.

Lastly, remember this. It sounds trite, but it's true; the life you save by folding may be your own.
