Falling position

Used to be that we were at or around #45 on the chart, but we've been slipping for a while now - what are we going to do about it?

is there some way to start a recruitment drive on AOA and reverse this trend?

ideas anyone?

Um with you streethawk (nice bike by the way). Ive tried in the past to get friends and work colleagues in on the folding action, but with little or no luck.
I found that most people dont trust the idea(think its some sort of scam) or are worried it will damage thier computers.

I think afew ppl have moved over to wcg for a change, maybe that has something to do with the drop. or maybe ppl are just getting bored with it.

I think our team captain needs to do abit of pluggingthere are always new members joining the forum, fresh meat for the grinder

Out of interest does anyone know how long stanford has been running this?

nudge!

I see that the trend seems to have almost fully turned around. Our production was in free fall, but we seem to be pulling up again

Having trouble folding at the moment.
Program keeps corrupting itself for some reason.

If your OC is not 100% stable it can lead to this. In which case redownloading and reinstalling will not help. However if you don't OC then what Toro said is a must do !

Have deleted and reloaded about 30 times,Still no luck.
PC only overclocked approx.200mhz so it,s quite stable.
No viruses or anything like that to cause it.
Will figure it out 1 day

hmm

well I would put it back to default clocking, and see how it goes. If it goes ok, slowly increase it again until it starts faulting, then pull it back again, then you will know what the max is

I had same prob

reloaded many times, no improvement, with virtually or no OC

I gave up in the end and now no longer fold maybe again, once i have a PC worthy, but at 2000clicks i can barely make a difference. what's the point!

What's the point? How do you know that the unit you fold won't be the one that leads to a breakthrough in the search for a cure for cancer? Or Alzheimers? Or AIDS?

You DON'T!

THAT'S the point!

I know you're right, but it got very demoralising for someone with a limited system and even more limited budget to see everyone else's scores shooting off into the distance - especially when I had trouble finishing a unit or posting results of the ones that I did :/

And some days I wonder why I'm bothering to stay alive myself, let alone helping others! (but that's a different story)

I'll try again - see next post
