F@H Service Installer

after bragging about the X2F@H installer, I have a problem. after installing the service and editing the config file, the
file FAH2 for the second core shows machine id as 1. that and the program runs on the task bar. I do not have dual core
happiness on this machine and am at a loss as where to start, or restart as the case may be. you see I have uninstalled,
deleted, reinstalled and reconfigured about three times and it's FUBAR after reboot. it ran for two days and I thought all
was well. I checked the stats on EMIII and it gave me RM1's stats. I checked the config file to find that it was
at it's default setting. all points going to RM1 I edited the config file with word pad and after restart all went THIAHB.
what now???

do not open the config file with notepad/word. it's a binary file. start the client with the '-config' flag

If I have an issue, I usually delete the config file and start over.

I create 2 folders, Fold 1 and Fold 2 respectivly.

Copy the client into each folder. I then run the client and answer all the questions. Select Y to start as a service . Select Y to edit advanced options. Enter machine ID 1 for folder 1 and 2 for folder 2. Let the clients DL the work and start. Verify with Task Manager that both cores are running. Restart you computer and recheck to see if both clients started in Task Manager. There you go.

well, I have two different protiens showing in EMIII. two cores @ 50% each in task manager. FAH core one is on the task bar.
looks like two separate cores folding. I'll keep an eye on things.
