Silly windows position question Silly question all How can I adjust the 2 client windows on my dual core machines so that when they start one is on the left of the screen and one on the right. At the mo when they start they sit one on top of the other so I cant see one. Any help appreciated Smiffy |
This drove me crazy! I never did figure it out! I just kept switching cords and and checking indicator boxes until I got what I wanted...there has to be a better way! |
To the best of my knowledge, there isn't any way for you to set that yourself. When an application creates a window, it has the option of specifying the screen coordinates for the window to be placed at when it opens, or of taking the OS default behavior. Unless the developer sees a specific need to set the position of the window, it is pretty common practice to just take the defaults, which means that the OS overlaps and offsets the windows in the fashion you are seeing. Until the FAH client application itself is changed, I don't know of anything you can do to alter that, although there might be some utility out there to do it. |
I'm sorry Smiffy, I was careless in my reading of your question. I saw a chanch to vent on a long standing frustration of my own! ":O} |
