Windows 7 @ Intel D975XBX2

Last week I got so tired of vista, so I installed a Windows 7 ultimate x64.
The only problem i'm having, is that my transfer speeds in my home network are terribly slow. Also my downloadspeed(@ speedtest.net) went from 25-30 mbps under vista to 3-4 mbps under W7..

Can sombody help me with this? Can it be a driver issue? (There isn't a Windows 7 LAN driver for this mobo yet..)

It definitely sounds like a driver issue. You say there isn't a Windows 7 LAN driver for your mobo yet, but Vista and Windows 7 share the same driver model under the hood. Can you not load the Vista driver, or is that what you are using now?

There are 3 drivers, a Vista 32 bit, vista 64 bit and a "all-in-one" package for all operating system versions. (here)

The Vista x64 driver didn't want to install, so I tried the all in one. It works perfect, except the slow speeds..

These are the Intel drivers for Windows 7 64-bit and Server 2008 R2. See if they will do the trick for you: *Network Adapter Drivers for Windows 7* and Windows Server 2008 R2, x64 editions*

It works! speedtest.net => 38 mbps
When you look at the updates for my mobo, there is only a Raid driver for W7 >.<
Thanks a lot Gizmo!!
