W7 Question

So, I decided to buy Windows 7 just for a change. But after my purchase I realized something. I bought the 32-bit version rather the 64-bit version.

So my question is, what difference would I see if I returned the 32-bit for the 64? Or would I be fine just using the 32-bit version?

Mostly the amount of installed memory you can use. I will be installing 64 bit on a separate drive to see if there are any other advantages or issues.

I will let you know if something comes up. W7 Beta 64 bit nearly sent me over the edge. Buggy.

Using W7 64 on desktop, in a VM and just loaded a copy onto father's laptop for him to use.

So far no real issues other than the normal windows clutter and behaviour. Almost reminds me of Windows 2000, and as Obi Wan would call it, "A more civilized age".

That said, the fact that Windows even needs to be congratulated on "not crashing" or being "buggy" is a sad state to be in.

Everyone I know that has 64-bit OS (XP or Vista) is having compatibility issues with drivers. Your 32-bit Windows 7 should run fine unless you want to add more RAM like Samuknow said
