This is something that has NOT effected me at all running either flavor of W7U with all the latest MS updates, patches & fixes in place!
Could be because of my many layers of security in place & the fact that I've disabled just about every service that I'm not using in Windows.
As everybody knows already, the less you have up & running the less there is to go wrong.

Also, this is NOT caused by any MS update as previously thought.

hi Blue screen error occurs due to failure of RAM. You should remove your RAM or clean it. Blue screen of death may also occur due to malfunction of software and hardware devices. If this problem starts with any new software or hardware installation then uninstall it. There may also be corruption in files due to some virus attack. You should install antivirus software in order to protect your system.

It's a black screen though, not a blue screen, caused by certain parts of the OS failing to load correctly. It has been suggested that malware may have caused changes to the registry that lead to these failures.
