I'll stick with Fedora for my Server... some day I will build a new server with RAID and finally upgrade to a newer version of Fedora

I'm not totally sure because I havn't messed with it, but your chipset is what determines the kind of RAID capabilities unless you are doing a software RAID.
And... RAID 5 requires 3 or more identical hard drives.
Since I would only use it in a server, I would probably buy a SATA controller card and buy 5qty 500 Gig hard drives. If the card supports it, I'm sure Fedora supports it.

For raid0 you need a serious OS my friend (thick Indian accent)
Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-gb; HTC Desire Build/IMM76L) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30

Mint doesn't seem to ship with LVM or RAID stuff to be honest. Therefore, you're a bit at the mercy of trying to figure out what you really need, and configure it without the assistance of any GUI. That's a bit of a pain really. I guess the Mint guys decided that this stuff wasn't important to the end user.

The only RAID working with linucs has arrived! Enjoy!

Did I mention it also has an internal debug system guaranteed to work 100%?

Well... Waiting has brough me Mint, I guess waiting will bring RAID... Especially if every one of you writes to Mint and with grace and tact explains my situation in great detail...

Shouldn't take anyone more than an hour or two...LOL
