XP x64 PPD Increase

I just changed the PetCarrier rig [E8400 & 9800GT] to XP Pro x64 and had a 400PPD increase over XP Pro x86 in the SMP client. No such increase with the GPU client but I'm happy. It's the reason I switched.
It's nice to be right once in a while!

How does that compare with your Win7 box?

The Duo is beating the Quad! The XP rig is faster-I've a copy of Win 7 x64 and I'm going to install it sometime this week.

I installed WIN 7 x64 and got roughly a 500 PPD increase with the SMP client! Now the Quad is faster than the Duo, as it should be. 64 bit OS is faster on both rigs.
