Smp troubles

Hi All
Had another bash at installing smp on my new machine
Seems to install ok but every time i click it to start it appears on the screen for a 10th of a second then disappears.
Have tried various switches but no difference.Any ideas anyone.
Thanks in advance.Have tried removal/re-install but the same.

Smiffy...your client has expired. Go to the download page and download a current one...you'll be OK after that.
