Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and 10.1 will be available in the US within the next few weeks, Samsung announced Thursday. The dual-core tablets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will arrive separately: April 22 for the 7-inch version and May 13 for the 10.1-inch version.

Their strategy is to launch everything, and see what sticks, but there were more than a few raised eyebrows when early risers at Mobile World Congress were greeted by a huge banner for a 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Note.

Ever since the Nintendo 3DS proved that you don't need bulky glasses to view images in 3D, smartphone and tablet makers have been systematically releasing their own glasses-free 3D devices with varying results. None of these, however, have incorporated the experience with console-like controls to play casual apps or streamed video games. That's where the WikiPad comes in, with its no-glasses 3D screen and attachable gamepad to give a more immersive gaming experience.
