From The Inquirer :

"Taiwanese manufacturers Asustek and Gigabyte said they are to establish a joint venture to build Gigabyte-branded motherboards and graphics cards.

The pair will set up a new company, which is expected to start operating at the beginning of 2007. It will be 51 per cent owned by Gigabyte and 49 per cent owned by Asus."
