Page 7 of 18 Sega Master SystemIn June 1986 the Sega Master System was first sold in the USA, then it went on sale in Japan in 1987. This unit is an 8-bit, third generation console. Processor- Zilog Z80A 8 bit running at 3.54 Mhz (PAL/SECAM) or 3.57 MHz (NTSC)

- 32 colours maximum (can be programmed to display 64 colours)
