Crysis Specs from the man himself Print
Written by skool_h8r

Hi all,
last night, i went over to IGN to check out what there was to look forward to in 2007. Of course, while i was there i just had to check out Crysis. And boy, was i surprised. There was a video interview with the CEO of crytek about what was happening with the game. Usually, i just skip them since it's usually what we know. But what enticed me was the subtitle. It said something about specs. So 2 clicks and it was downloaded. Watched it and apparently what we have seen so far isn't really what we should expect. What we should expect in terms of graphics will be better than the videos we have now! They've been working on gameplay all this time apparently! And what's even more surprising is what he said in the last 30 seconds; "Crysis will be able to run on mid-high DX9 hardware that is 2 and a half to 3 years old". Is he serious?! Basically, that means that all us with systems like mine will be able to run it! It's the news we've been waiting for, and it came from the man himself.

and the comment in the forums!
