the enclosed installation CD there's a host of bundled software
including Norton Internet Security 2004, Acrobat reader 6 and all the
required drivers. The only item lacking was a floppy containing the
RAID drivers which are needed during installation of Windows. The RAID
drivers are there on the CD, so I had to create my own floppy disk with
the supplied RAID drivers on it. Installation was a breeze for
me. The only problem I encountered was the discovery that my RAM was
faulty. Armed with a new set of modules I had the board running fine
with no problems. Out-of-the-box Performance The
9NDA3+'s performance is as good as it gets, I've managed to get my AMD
3500+ .13nm CPU upto just over 2.65Ghz. I was able to run 3D Mark and
various other benchmarks at this speed with no errors. I am expecting
that this board can only improve with time and new BIOS updates. Conclusion Overall
The 9nda3+ is an excellent fully featured board. Having had time to
play some more, I've been able to get the HTT running at 265Mhz with
PC3200 memory set to 1:1 and 2.8v. So, it is clearly a great
overclocker. Whether I've hit the limits of the board or the chip
remain to be seen but I must say I'm impressed. I think this board will
serve me well until I get tempted by PCI Express offerings. Further details of this motherboard at www.epox.org Please, feel free to discuss this board in the forums here.
