Game Graphics

When using an LCD display resolutions are limited to either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768. However, it is possible to force 1280 x 1024 on an LCD - see the thread in the forum for this game for more details on this and other work arounds. There's a link at the end of the review.

Gandalf

Gandalf unleashes a lightning spell

You may have noticed that anti-aliasing is off in these screen shots. I experienced problems when I forced AA on, part of the screen would turn black when ever Gandalf cast a spell - this was using a 6800 Ultra with 256MB of video memory. Apparently this bug only occurs with more recent nVidia drivers and may be fixed by a future game patch. But Fortunately, even with these short comings the graphics do look very fine.
