Bill Gates is now a Knight of the British Empire for recognition of the huge sums of cash he has made and his work with third world countries.
He received his Knighthood from the Queen at Buckingham Palace and can now put the initials KBE after his name, but cannot be known as Sir Bill due to his lack of Britishness.
"The UK was the first country in which Microsoft set up a subsidiary outside the US and our experience in the UK has been significant in shaping our international growth," said Bill.
It is unlikely that the Queen has ever used a PC, but I'm sure that she was impressed all the same.
