Keian corporation's USB2 HDD Print
Written by Aidan

Normally we'd not bother mentioning yet another external casing for a 2.5 inch hard disk, but Keian's JHMP-2500S is just a little bit different! From the outside, it looks pretty similar to many other external casings. Two aluminium plates wrapped around the drive protect it from the outside world, and a USB2 interface. As you'd expect, it can be powered by the USB2 port, or by an external 5V power supply.

However, look around the back, it's it's obviously different! The AV Out and VGA ports might give you a hint that it can display images. Indeed, it can - it supports JPEG quite happily, but that's not the whole story. It also supports MP3, VCD,  MPEG2, MPEG4 as well as  DivX versions 3 to 5! There's also a remote control (not pictured) so you can control it.

There's more details here.
