Many players in the tech industry publish topical whitepapers that include analysis and commentary on a wide range of issues that are relevant to technologists and IT overlords alike. We read a bunch of these ourselves, and this week we have a few we'd like to share.

Open Source Security Myths

A whitepaper from Internet security company Astaro aims to dispel some common myths about open source security software. The paper offers some well-reasoned arguments in favor of enterprise open source adoption and challenges misconceptions about potential risks of using open source security software.
