Dual Core Atom Arrives September Print

Rumour has it that the dual-core successor to Intel's Atom processor is set tp be released in September. While Fudzilla doesn't cite its sources, it claims that the Atom 330 will be launching on the 21st of September, at $43 (~£21) ??" presumably per 1,000 units.

That $43 nets a dual-core 1.6GHz processor but as it boasts hyper-threading just like its smaller brother, that means it will appear as a four CPUs the Operating System. The CPU still uses a 533MHz FSB and has the same 512KB L2 cache per core, for a total of 1MB on the CPU.
