XBox360 reboxed? Print
Written by Gizmo

Well, I'm sure by now you all know the story; XBox360 is barely available anywhere.  According to this story at The Register, that isn't going to change any time soon.  Reportedly, Microsoft blamed component shortages and lack of manufacturing capacity.  But one has to wonder.  MS reportedly intended to sell 2.75 million of the things by now, yet they've only sold about 600,000.  Now, if the numbers were the other way 'round, I could buy the 'component shortage' and 'lack of manufacturing capacity' story, but this smacks of a really big stinky pile of poo that someone is trying to slide under the rug.

So, what do you think?  Is there more going on here than meets the eye?  Got any juicy theories?  How does this bode for Sony and Nintendo?  Tell us, in the forums!
