HDD Cooling Print
Written by WonderBread
Friday, 03 March 2006

the other day i had opened my computer for something i dont remember any more but i had bumped my HDD's and actually burned my finger because it was so hot! so i had began to think about how to put some fans in there to help cool them since there is absolutley no venalation up there for the HDDs.

Robbie's brother/cousin...i forget who... has the same case and i got the idea from him.
I first thought i could just go to the my local hardware store and buy a hole saw that i could just attach to my cordless drill but i talked to one of the sales people and he suggested that i not use a hole saw because it tear up the acrylic window. so i bought a dremmel! man did it work nice. k, enough with the talk. heres the pics of the final job...i thought about taking pics of the process but i was distracted by going to my High School semi final B-Ball game.
