AMD 65nm chips spotted in Taiwan Print
Written by Gizmo

oc.com.tw claims to have pictures of a 65nm AM2 chip from AMD.  The chip apparently runs at 1.2v and is clocked at 2 GHz.

This is undoubtedly and engineering sample and not real production (which is still slated for early next year).  Still, if AMD is getting yields on 2GHz chips now, one would think they ought to be able to crank the clock up pretty nicely by the time they hit full production.
