Final vote within three weeks

The battle for Internet User Rights in Europe has been ongoing for the last two years, as lawmakers across the pond have been working on a new package of telecommunications laws. The "Telecoms Reform Package" is supposed to amend a set of laws passed in 2002, and seeks to unify laws covering the European communications market.

Big Content: Using "moral panics" to change copyright law

One of the top copyright lawyers in the US takes Big Content to the woodshed in his new book, saying that "the Copyright Wars are a fight against our own children and it is a fight that says everything about the adults and very little about the children."
