Google retaining ~50% of market share

Recent U.S. figures, which show the market share for each of the popular mobile phone platforms, indicate that Apple has made little gain since February 2012 - up just 1.7 points, in May, to 31.9%.

Google (phones running Android) has 50.9% of the market share, up just 0.8 of a point.  Meanwhile Microsoft has 4.0% of the market, and RIM has slipped down 2.0 points to 11.4%.
