| That's a good question - and I don't know how to answer it! I suspect it's a combination of browser performance and computer performance. In theory a 64bit browser should be slightly faster than a 32bit browser, simply due to more working registers.
I should try the same version of FF under Windows, as FF15 under Win seemed to be a bit faster than FF16 under Linux.
From that point onwards, I guess it's going to be theorise and experiment!
