"Rocky Rococo at your cervix. He stopped the car on a dime. Unfortunately, the dime was in Mr Rococo's pocket." These and other comedy classics are found in The Firesign Theater's recorded works. Find them, you'll laugh and laugh. Guaranteed.

Sniffle, it's like someone doesn't like me. Made the mistake of posting "U R gonna go to gail, Missah Tbooosh," on the wrong site. Couldn't call out for two hours, yet the DSL worked fine. Let this be a warning to you, good citizens.

More cloak n' daggerism from the Bushtapo. I'm not surprised at all, since I've heard other cases like that.

If I had a guy convicted of felony purgury for covering my ass, why I want to commute his sentence to! (Before the yellow lying trader starts talking to save his yellow lying traders ass.

As for the Republicans who wanted a pardon... the worst case of moral bankruptcy of this presidency!

How corrupt do you have to been to want Libby silent? And forgiven for lying to the American people under oath and obstructing justice?

How corrupt do you have to be to want to keep Chenny save from prosecution? 3500+ Americans dead and the Republicans want to protect Chenny and Libby, not our men fighting and dying...

100,000 Iraqis dead and the Republican leadership want us to know nothing about how we really got here.

The question becomes at this point, what do Americans want to know and do the want it badly enough to act to get it?

It's easy to throw up my hands in despair. Nearly 70% of us want the war to end now. And Congress bumbles along, keeping the Military, Industrial, Educational juggernaut rolling over us. Democracy? Puhlease. Worse, the creeps at the top are itching to bomb Iran on *trumped up charges. Familiar pattern.

*Ahmenajihad, or whatever it really is NEVER said he wanted to destroy Israel. He said that Israel's ruling politicians have to go. Freakin' MSM cheerleads the worst of our policy makers, it flat out lies all the time. Yes, really.

Anyone ever see an old episode of "You bet your Life" where Groucho interviews a genuine country boy, man that is, who says that "Aliens are people who live over the next ridge?" I always wonder if Paul Lynde was as nimble minded as Groucho. Maybe.

An idiot? Are we talking about the guy that had a semi-permanent seat on The Hollywood Squares? He was brilliant, IMHO.

Yeah the same guy. I guess one could say he was comically brilliant, but I always thought we was annoying as hell! He did get off a few good ones now & then...

How many choices does it take to make a Democracy?
If it is how we choose that makes a Democracy is it necessary to have a say in the choices offered?

I was once told by a very intelligent student, that Plato was no big deal, "He had it easy he got to ask all the questions!"

I persuaded her he might still be worthwhile if one asked themselves...

Did he ask the right questions?

So... In a democracy how many choices are needed to represent our plurality?

Or is the question, are we being presented with the right choices to choose from. Will any of the choices we are being offered lead us where we want to go?

What democracy?

I have a few choices I've been mulling lately that should be put to a majority vote: should the current 'Merkin politicos/fascists be strung up by their toes in the public square a la Mussolini, imprisoned for life, or simply shot and buried in unmarked graves? All of the above seem far too humane for many of them.

We MUST lead Congress at this critical junture. Phone, email or tell your Congresscritter that it is time to IMPEACH. No excuses from them are valid, it's our job to make them impeach this Administration from beyond Hades. If we don't IMPEACH Cheney and Bush future Administrations will think it's OK for them to act in patently un-Constitutional ways. These sub-humans think they're entitled to act like kings. No, they are not. Impeach!
