Excellent!

You should be able to continue increasing your FSB little by little. It's a good idea to use the CMOS Reloaded feature on your board - save some stable settings to one of the slots before pushing things too hard.

Now that you have the CPU/Memory ratio set to 1:1 you should be able to o/c. But there may be some other tweaking needed. I think you are in the clear now and should be able to get it running at a higher FSB before long.

heh, with that setup 200 fsb should be just a click away

you may have to wire the pins to drop the multiplier a notch though...

I think you can lower the multi, but not increase it.

What voltage is the CPU at Razorfish?

Voltage is also set to automatic, you think i should set it myself instead of it being auto. i think 1.65v is standard but id have to check.

Set voltage manually, start at 1.7v.

My Athlon 3000 is set at 1.825v, for example.

I think you have water cooling, so don't worry about higher voltages. 1.8v is fine with air cooling anyhow.

Do these timings match the default timings specified for your memory? They look about right to me. You may need to check this at crucial's website.

Don't worry about that, it's quite normal.

Some CPU's need more voltage than others to o/c. Mine needs a lot for example. You may also need to set it to 1.8v before it becomes stable - it's just luck of the draw.

That is possible. But, it's a good sign. The system wasn't 100% stable before, so windows took longer to load because it was struggling. Now that you have given it more juice things are more stable,

Becuase you CPU has a FSB of 166mhz (the same as mine). It will most likely need extra voltage to get it up to 200mhz.

So, you'll have to carry out a little test to see how high the FSB will go with extra voltage and learn the limits of the components you have.

But have you managed to get it stable at a higher FSB with more voltage on the CPU?

about this time you need too drop the multiplier to geta feeling for your boards/cards/ram top end. go with 9 or 10x and see how high you can get the mems to run, (I assume the board has agp/pci lock enabled) then start cranking up the multiplier/voltage until it crashes and back off the FSB till it does'nt This will give you chip speed, you'll just have to tweak it stable from there

He's saying that he can't lower the multiplier. I thought you could on a new locked athlon. Can someone confirm this?
