Soyo Dragon plus, 1700 XP, 512ddr

I am told I can overclock this setup very easily. Problem is, Where do I start? Has anyone seen a "recipe" for where to go with this combo? I know this is a hobby and the fun is seeing how far YOU can go, but in order to get there, I need a boost! Any thoughts?

If you will visit the AMDMB.COM forums, and read the thread by Muskin Rules, you will get a really helpful article on setting the bios up for maximum performance. The mobo he is referencing to is the Epox 8KHA+, but I believe both use the Award bios and since both boards have KT266a chipsets. This will be a great guide for you. I have used it and it does work greatly. It goes into no only bios settings in memory and voltage, etc. It covers the best assignment of PCI and IRQ settings. This guy is great and his article is great. Hope you find this helpful
