| Phenom 9600 recently received an X4 9600BE and installed it on a Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3H. Gigabyte said the F4 bios was compatible with Phenom 9600. board shipped with F4 bios, no post. flashed to F6, no post. I have 2 other boards to try it on before claiming it DOA. both boards require a bios flash and I need to put a floppy drive in them.  as a side note, the 9600 came with a good looking hsf with heat pipes. | OK! I had time to tinker with the X2 on board. made some adjustments to the bios, added a case badge and all is good with the 4 core. Ron
