AT7 -diode or thermister?

I just installed my Abit AT7 Max. Gave my son the Epox 8KHA+.
My temp reading is about 7c higher. I'm reading 55c now, and getting a bit nervous. Does this board read the on die temp, or does it use the under socket thermister. I noticed it had one, with a spring, so it's touching the core.

It's sweet.. Only problem is I have 2 old printers both using the old port.. so one kid is gonna love having their own printer .

I need a USB printer. (well, maybe next year.)

I'll be using everything on the board but USB2 within the month.

Just installed it last night but, rock stable so far. still bump and testing.

Bluetooth Printer. That way you don't even need the cable.

I think many printers now come with only a USB connection. No parallel port to be seen. Too bad that USB requires an extra in-line amplifier every six inches. No, not literally. But USB cables seem to come in 15ft lengths at maximum.

Maybe USB 2.0 will be mo' betta.
