quik xp2700 results

just picked her up today.
aiugb 0245 does 2400@default vcore 1.65, 2551@1.85 this is just some fast playing nutten serous yet and no burnin or h20 this is air cooling with volcano7+,h20 be here later in the week.

btw just so you know this is the same stepping and date that opp did his 3100mhz on.he did 2.6@1.65 but with a prommy.

i expect it to top out with refer h20 2.7-2.8!

amd pr calculaters show this is xp3300 speeds.2551mhz anyhow.

ive backed it down to 2444@1.75vcore and burning some folding in.

Just to p.i.s.s you off... this is my 2400+ @ 14x182mhz = 2548mhz 2.00vcore

Well, I think the CPU limit has been reached, I am very doubtful I can push it more.

deathstar13 6th January, 2003 12:57 AM

ok man the gloves come off right now!
stand back couse im gonna overvolt mine :P oh u in for it now man. lmao give me 15 mins.

"edit" :( im so sad. i overvolted to 2v and only did 2590mhz :( tried a few times for 1600 but just needed differant settings or somthing. temps 46-48c so i was in the yellow and said it needs to wait till h20 gets here.

whatever 6th January, 2003 03:00 AM

deathstar13, I didn't think you could run much more than 2.5Ghz on that stepping with air. AIUGB sure is a good stepping though. Better than my old AIUCB. Your CPU has some good potential. With supercooling(maybe Peltier + water chiller) you could run 2.6Ghz without too much of Vcore increase. I don't think just plain watercooling is gonna give you a big jump even at 2.00V.. water gets warmed up quickly at such OC & Vcore.. neverthless, you got a damn fine OC!! Don't feel bad. Mine's good n comfortable at 2.513ghz@ 1.9v. I can go a little more but because of temperature.. I'll be getting the swifty water hehe..

deathstar13 6th January, 2003 04:05 AM

ty! yes im very proud and happy.i know elusion is too with his.
yeh from that little overvolt test its a little let down, but doesnt mean a whole lot until i actually put it on h20.

yes im aware the water will heat up,this is my second h20 system ive built and in the last part of the build im putting in refegeration or a freezer.some have had luck doing this and i dig deep and study hard before i spend.the design is nothing radical but has long term use in mind as i fold 24/7.

2400 on air,2500 on h20,2600 on refer h20 were my original goals.ive far surpassed them and i thought they were kinda high too.

btw swifty makes a great h20 system.what are you useing now?

heres my h20 stuff ive bought and is being shipped.
DDmaze3 1/2" id
6x10x2 heater core 1/2id
500 gph danner mag drive. 1/2 id
2 gallon sealed reivour (gonna make)
1/2 size 5cf freezer.

the resivour and core both in the freezer.kept at just above freezing.120mm ac fan on the core.not much heat output on it and pushs like 200cmf.pump outside behind for heat reasons.

i hope to keep a steady 0c-5c temp.dont worry ill be posting results.no pics as dropping a $100 on a camera dont fit my budget.

my volcano7+ does an excelent job.even for Tt its a good peice of work.but that darn 7000 rpm fan in my bedroom at nights about done me in.i fold 24/7 so i need h20.

ive looked at the prometia, excelent piece of work, but im very interested in the long term effects.not that ive ever had a cpu over 4 months but just seems it would kill the cpu life dramaticaly.mainly due to the high voltages it allows.not the cooling part.

im hoping my idea and setup will allow decent overvolting but not enough to let me have electrical migration that bad.

Well... it was a long post that I wrote in another forum answer someone else' question about Water Cooling. So I just go ahead copy the post and pasted here :rolling: Only thing I don't like about the swiftec's kit is the Radiator.

cooledbywater's radiator (Heater Core) Rocks
