Aquamark3 is nice a quick, and gives you a seperate CPU/GFX score.

As Pitch said it test the speed of your system both CPU / Video Card and gives you a score. AquaMark score is taken from Avg frames plus some other bits. The higher the score the faster the system. It's great for tweeking overclock your GPU and then run the bench and see if you get a higher score then do it again until you get no more gain our something freezes then you can go back and you have the fastest system you can get.And Yes it will run on your systems.

Which ever one you like, based on whic hhardware you's like to "compare". Personally, all it will do is give you a number, based on what the programmer feels is a baseline. Take into account the differences in programmnig that different types of hardware requires, there is a benchmark for almost every component, although the validity of such numbers is often suspect.

Does it do what you want it to, does it do it a a speed you find acceptable, does it do it without error or malfunction?

Everything that goes beyond this is ...just a benchmark.

Rough definition:
"A Mark placed on a bench to measure the length of a cut, often no more than a saw cut left when the last length to be cut, cut through and left a benchmark."

im confused how you have over 650 posts, on an overclocking forum, and dont know what benchmarks are...

yet i agree with every1 with aquamark...its probably one of the shortest tests there are and you can notice your changes easily

I'm more of a modder, making my computer look cooler. I'm slowly learning about overclocking and benchmarking.
