Yeah I got the quad and it's running happy at 3,2 Ghz for now. Small improvement in the score. |
| ||||
Yeah I know but I really use this PC for a lot of things and they all run at the same time so Quad is better 4 me. |

![]() Why didn't someone say something to me when I first posted my score on here that I had ran PCMark Vantage and not 3DMark Vantage? Now I just feel totally retarded that it took me this long to figure it out! LOL ![]() Anyways...heres my 3DMark Vantage scores! ![]() Systems settings (what you see below in my sig) 3DMark setting on Performance. (Default settings)

![]() Here's my 3DMark Vantage results using the 177.35 driver that Cliff pointed me to. Download CUDA Code - complete and free toolkit for creating derivative works This is a Nvidia driver from their site as well! ![]() This works very well on Vista so far as I see and it raised my score too! ![]()

Nice score. I get an awesome CPU score but my GFX card scores way lower than yours and I have no ideea why! |

![]() The 8800GTX Stock runs at 575/1350/900 & I'm running mine at 648/1512/1026 (2056 effective) when benching it on 3DMark Vantage. I also Tweaked Vista Services. This alone gave me 10 FPS higher benches & freed up a ton of resources. ![]()

Crank it up over 1000 and it will get much higher scores. ![]() As far as remote assistance you lost me on that, but I have that service always shut off & disabled...

![]() I have just replaced my 8800 GTS 320 with a 9800 GTX 512. GPU Phsyx enabled with latest 177.39 and the special GPU Phsyx App from Nvidia. ORB - Compare First pic is with the old 8800 GTS the second is with GPU Psyx enabled on 9800 GTX. ![]() Third pic is 3D Mark 06 result. Both results with GFX card on stock speeds.

Hmm, I would have thought there would be more of a jump in the GPU performance than that from the card I'm using even at stock speeds but it doesn't look that way. My GPU Score was 5225 & yours is 5614. Yes I know that's with mine Clocked & yours at stock but even still... The only other thing that's different has to be Vista Services Tweaks... As I said this alone gave my card better performance in games by 10 FPS!!! So you should now see that this IS worth the time and effort to do, but it takes time going through all of the 130 services that Vista is running! This took me a half and hr to do, but Vista is so much faster now and also using 30% less memory! (After disabling or setting to manual all of the useless background services) But the best part was better gaming performance after the tweaks... ![]()

Because of integrated Physx the CPU job is done by the GPU but still the points go to CPU. Check the CPU points ![]() |
