Case handles

Hummmmm........ i like having something to grab onto when transporting my case~ now all my other cases have handles but with my aluminum one im pretty sure that the aluminim is too weak...... if i put a bracing and conencted it to the chassis frame, you think that would be enought?

alu is actually rather tough stuff. Hell the skin on a 747 is just .060" thick at most! (around doors there are several thicknesses though) Just try to spread the load over as large an area as possible, stack up some different sized washers so you can use ones meant for much larger bolts. this SHOULD spread the load out enough to avoid distorting the case.

Fender washers. Ask the hardware store for fender washers they are huge with a small hole in the center great for spreading out load.
