voltage = same in parrellel or series?

I know that to have the same voltage and shared current you have to connect your fans in parrallel or seiries.

can some one tell me which one? i catn remember (should have been awake during school :P)

In series the voltage drops with each load.

In parallel voltage going down each path is the same as the initial voltage

Wire parallel. That is how the PSU is wired to the drive connectors in the first place.

The only thing I know about wiring parallel vs. series is a audio rule.

Wiring speakers parallel will cut the ohms in half, while wiring the series will double it. Of course, I always wired speakers parallel 100watts @ 4 ohms is 200watts @ 2 ohms. (Cheap amplifiers only last about 20 min double bridged to 1 ohm.)

Confusing, aren't I?
