Ok-here is what i can suggest- daniel i hope u dont mind! i followed the guide from here- it cost $6 for Nylon cable wrap- 1/4 inch and $2 for heatshrink- Just take the pins out of the Hardrive and floppy connections with a micro screw driver (and besure to bend the pins back out before u put them back in!) then slip a short piece of shrink wrap on the meause and cut the Nylon Mesh wrap to length of the cable- (1 inch in from each side) slip another short piece of shrink wrap on the other and and apply heat to shrink tube and repeat!

(BE SURE TO HAVE AN EXTRA PS handy TO CHECK THE 12V -12V -5V +5V CORRECT ARANGMENT i fried a CDROM AND BURNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
